Il fienile (The barn) is situated approximately 20 minutes (9 Kilometres) from the popular and beautiful resort of Sorrento. The building itself constructed from local stone on the original site of a barn which lay on agricultural land. The land has been owned by the family of the proprietors (The Guarracino family) for countless generations and benefits from surrounding gardens producing a wide variery of local produce.
Some 20 years in it's creation due to Italian law and finance, a project started by Luigi Guarrancino and his Wife, Marie Rosa.

Luigi Guarracino has been involved and working in the tourist, hotel and hospitality trade for over 30 years. As Maître d'hôtel at a local well respected hotel for many years, his knowledge is almost unsurpassed, challenged only perhaps by his beautiful Wife Marie Rosa.
As a family run business, Luigi's eldest son Giacomo is also heavily involved in the day to day running of the restaurant. Both Luigi and Giacomo have an excellent command of the English language and together with Marie Rosa and staff provide probably the friendliest and most professional welcome available in the area.

Il fienile is notable particularly for it's rapid rise in popularity, demonstrated by it's current ranking status on Trip Advisor for restaurants in the area. It is fast becoming a very significant establishment.
Il fienile can cater equally well for couples, families and parties and can accomodate any special dietary requirements including vegetarian, celiac etc.
